Report and Information Regarding Scissor Case Hardware

We previously reviewed the belt hardware used in the BLINK SCISSORS CASE, and since then, we have not received any reports of hardware breakage.

The hardware we currently use is made by a reliable domestic manufacturer, and we feel that its durability has greatly improved.

In making this change, we looked at a great deal of hardware, including:
・What kind of hardware is used in bags from famous brands?
・What kind of parts are used in items that bear heavy loads, such as golf bags?

When you think about it, many people wear their scissor cases for 8-10 hours or more a day, so the hardware is subjected to many times the stress of a commuter bag.

Therefore, we ordered several types of hardware with a smooth movement and low-friction structure, and decided on the current specifications, which combine design and functionality.

However, there is one "drawback".

That is, the spring pressure of the hook part is strong, requiring a little force to attach and detach it.

Although it becomes easier to attach and detach with repeated use, a friend recently gave me honest feedback, saying, "It might be a little difficult."

This was the first time we received such feedback, but it's possible that others may feel the same way.

Therefore, we have prepared a solution.

Instead of attaching the hardware directly to the scissor case body, you can improve the ease of attachment and detachment by inserting a "double split key ring" in between.
