Regarding the design of scissor cases.

Previously, I focused on producing "custom-made scissor cases," but since the beginning of this year, I have been dedicating my time to "standardizing" Blink Leather Works' original products based on my past production experience.

The catalyst for this change was realizing the "limitations" of custom-made production while receiving various orders.

Listening to customer requests, producing according to them, and then selling the product.

Perhaps that approach might lead to greater customer satisfaction, but if Blink Leather Works' passion and intent are not present, then anyone could make it.

The same applies to hair design,
which I believe you, as "beauticians," understand best.

Blink Leather Works first started making scissor cases in 2010.
The original design, -square-, remains a consistently popular scissor case even today, without significant design changes,
but it has undergone 5 updates to date.

This is not limited to -square- but applies to all Blink scissor cases.
Many of these changes were prompted by feedback from customers who actually use our products.

In the case of products, the parts that "break" or "wear out" vary depending on the user's habits and usage,
but by continuously making the same product, we can sometimes identify the "causes" and "areas for improvement."

We might reinforce easily frayed areas with hand-stitching or change hardware that wears out easily to a different type.
We might also fine-tune leather thickness to achieve "harmony" between design and durability.

Such small "accumulations" are crucial for creating products that are easy to use and naturally fit,
and that experience is what I believe makes our "standard products", co-created with users, a "Blink asset."

Rather than simply creating superficial designs, our aim is to provide products that are truly easy for the user to use.
I want to prioritize this in my product creation.

On the other hand, with custom-made products, there is less "experience" with that particular product,
and it can be a one-shot deal, so there are times when I cannot confidently offer the product.

To avoid such risks beforehand, creating a product sample to verify performance requires considerable time and effort,
thus incurring a significant cost, which is the current situation.
Of course, many customers understand this, and we still accept custom orders sometimes.
