Renewal's 1st Anniversary | Report from BLINK SCISSORS CASE

Warm days have continued and before we knew it, it's April.

Although the new fiscal year has begun, there haven't been any special changes in our work.
However, April 2018 marks exactly one year since we moved from our previous workshop.

One year has passed since our renewal opening

It passed so quickly that the days I was busy with moving preparations,
and after opening, gradually changing fixtures and rearranging machines…
Even now, we are still redecorating (laughs), but it truly feels like "just the other day."

I truly feel that being able to spend these busy days is something I am most grateful for.

Looking back, it was a year of change.

Even though I thought, "There weren't any particularly big changes,"
when I calmly look back, the current atelier didn't exist a year ago.

Because of it, I was able to meet many people,
and received comments like "I feel at ease shopping with a physical store,"
which made me realize again that it was a good decision to take action.

Sharing time with users

Being able to spend time with users in the real space of the atelier.
For us, that is the most valuable experience.

While looking at actual product samples together,
as we receive various opinions and feedback from customers,
we often encounter perspectives we wouldn't have noticed on our own.

Even in casual conversations, there are many hints and lessons to be found.

As a scissor case specialist, moving forward

We have created scissor cases by leveraging our experience as hairdressers.
That's why we are confident in their usability,
but we don't believe we can offer something perfect for everyone.

However, what we can understand because we were hairdressers,
and what we can seriously commit to because we love it, that is the foundation of BLINK SCISSORS CASE today.

Every day, we make scissor cases, think about them, and then make them again.
There may not be many people in the world like that (laughs).

In August, we will celebrate our 7th anniversary.

This August, BLINK SCISSORS CASE will celebrate its 7th anniversary as a brand.
Fitting for a milestone year, we intend to further refine our quality as a specialist store,
and also take on new challenges we haven't explored yet.
