Original Leather Bookmarks for a Hair Salon, Crafted with Care

Today, I spent the entire day producing
leather bookmarks commissioned by a hair salon in Nagoya.

The order came from cumplir in Nagoya, a salon we've had a good relationship with for a long time.
This is the third time we've delivered to them.

The bookmarks are distributed to guests visiting the salon, and apparently, they also serve as introduction cards with the salon's website printed on them.
They've received good feedback from guests, and this time, we received an order for a whopping 1,000 pieces.

Every step is handmade.

Of course, each bookmark is finished by hand.
I'll show you the production process, which focuses on being "efficient and simple."

First, the main body is cut uniformly from the leather.
We carefully arrange and cut them to minimize waste.

Next, using a hot foil stamping machine, we apply the logo with silver foil, one by one.
For this project, we chose silver for a clean impression.

Here's a portion of the silver foil we used. It creates a simple yet elegant finish.

After hot foil stamping, we punch a hole for the string, then carefully inspect and bag them.
