美容師として東京・自由が丘で過ごした7年間──経験が今につながる理由

Seven years as a hairstylist in Jiyugaoka, Tokyo: Why that experience still shapes me today

Seven Years as a Hairdresser in Jiyugaoka, Tokyo - How That Experience Connects to Today

And so, my long-awaited solo life in Jiyugaoka, Tokyo finally began.

My days in this city, often called the number one place people want to live, were naturally filled with fresh sights, and
I was quite ecstatic at first (lol).

The salon I joined had a completely different atmosphere from the one in Osaka, and
with colleagues my age, I was able to work in a very blessed environment.

Both my work and private life were fulfilling, and I believe I spent truly ideal times.

Days When I Realized "You Can Change Your Future Yourself"

To be honest, no matter where you work, it ultimately comes down to "you."
I still believe that "if you work hard, results will follow."

However, when it comes to beauty and fashion work, experience in the city was truly special.
I had many opportunities to naturally encounter trends, more chances to style the hair of people who were sensitive to trends, and
an environment where I could gain inspiration just by walking through the city.

In particular, working as a hairdresser in Harajuku led to significant experience.
Being able to work in this city, where Japanese trends gather, is a valuable asset to me.

What Seven Years in Tokyo Taught Me

In Tokyo, I met many people and gained a lot of experience as a hairdresser for about seven years.
Every single one of those experiences has certainly shaped my current way of thinking and work style.

And then - through various events, it would lead to my current work.

More on that in the next post.
