To truly understand our "tools," we have created a salon space within our atelier.

We have created a new space within the BLINK SCISSORS CASE atelier, just like a hair salon.

This plan had long been in the works but proved difficult to realize.
Now that it has taken shape by the end of the year, we feel a sense of accomplishment.

Why a "salon space" in a leather workshop?

Many of you might be wondering.
In reality, we don't operate a salon in this space,
and it might be more efficient to use it as a display area for products.

However, we believe that "purchase is not the goal."

A "tool" is only complete when it is used in the field.

What we create are scissor cases designed to be effective in a hair salon setting.
We want them to naturally blend into the salon environment, fit comfortably when worn,
and enrich daily salon work.

That is why we felt it was meaningful to recreate an actual salon space in our atelier.

A place to more realistically test usability

Until now, we have conducted wear tests using prototype scissor cases,
but the environment for such tests was limited.

This new space allows us to conduct validations with "actual salon work" in mind,
making it possible to create products that reflect more practical and realistic "usability."

Of course, customers who visit our atelier can also
use this space to fit scissor cases and check their feel when worn.

"User perspective" at the heart of manufacturing.

No matter how skilled you are,
if it's difficult to use in salon work, it fails as a "tool."

We value "the creators themselves being users",
and we want to deliver products that we genuinely want to use ourselves.

And this space provides the environment to achieve that.
We will continue to diligently create scissor cases that cater to the users' needs.
